HighPost Capital, LLC (“HighPost”), a leading private investment firm focused on visionary companies and founders, today announced that Ron Sylvestri has joined the firm as Managing Director, Marketing. In this role, he will support the firm’s marketing and capital formation efforts, expanding and deepening HighPost’s relationships with institutional investors globally. He will report to David Moross, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HighPost.

Mr. Sylvestri brings more than 25 years of experience in investor relations, institutional capital formation and strategic business development across the alternative investment sector, successfully raising more than $4 billion in capital. Most recently, Mr. Sylvestri served as President of Quail Ridge Asset Management LTD, a boutique investment consulting and advisory firm he established in 2009, where he advised private equity firms, alternative asset managers, and middle-market companies on institutional fundraising, strategic positioning, capital formation, and business development.

Prior to Quail Ridge, Mr. Sylvestri was a Principal at Emerald Point Capital Partners, and before that, was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, focusing on institutional sales, equity research, and structured equity and debt products. Mr. Sylvestri serves on the Board of Directors of RiseBoro Community Partnership and the Advisory Board of Babson College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Investments. He also holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.
